Based in Washington, DC, Lou focuses on smaller biotech deals ($1 million - $8 million) and boasts more than 20 proof-of-concept, licensing, and partnering agreements to date. His background includes:

A Message from Lou

I have been partnering biotechnology assets for 15 years and did a six-year tour of duty at the bench. I've often been an early employee in startups, and I'm also the lead founder of a biotechnology contract services firm, and I've worked for numerous multinational firms.

Some of my past work includes the NIH, GenVec, Crucell Holland BV (now Janssen Infectious Disease) and Valneva SE in Nantes, France. I cross language and cultural barriers with ease et mon français est pas mal mais je l'ai oublié un peu je parle parce que ne pas beaucoup.

Today, I work from home with my dog, who offers no help whatsoever. As a smaller provider, I can give you a much more personalized experience compared to larger firms. Plus, when I can't help, I'm not afraid to acknowledge it and I will likely know someone who can assist you.
